I would like to say a big thank you to Phil and his great team on all the hard work they have carried out in transforming our loft into this wonderful room. Absolutely pleased with the end result and also the whole process from start to finish. Phil and his team were immaculate in their time keeping, cleanliness and quality of their workmanship. The neighbours commented many times on how well things were looking and how good the team were. One neighbour in particular being a retired builder said he could see how much quality had gone into the build with passers by keen to take a look.

I naturally spent quite a lot of time researching various different builders/companies only to be let down with poor reliability ETC but Phil restored my faith.

Phil & Paul carried out a loft extension of our three bed semi in May & June. The final result is stunning, I can’t quite believe what it looks like now compared to what the loft used to look like. They are always great with communication and are on hand to offer advice. Always on time for work and leave the place clean and tidy. My home is special to me and my family as the guys have really lifted the house to the next level, they have good knowledge and experience in the trade, they gave my other trades men advise on how to lay my floor plans out in my house and how to make the most of the space they, I really wished I used Midland County Lofts for all my work carried out, I would definitely use Midland County Lofts in the future, the work was done very neatly, before I never like my home I always wanted to sell and move but thanks to Midland County Lofts, I would never move as me and my family love our house so much thanks to Midland County Lofts.

We used Midland County Lofts for a dormer loft conversion. Phil and Jack created a new bedroom with ensuite. IT turned out great. They are good honest guys. They were a little bit cheaper than the competition and we were really happy we went with them. Phil managed everything for us and the work was done to a high standard. I’d defo recommend them.

Phil and the boys did a great job making good an old loft room and adding a dormer to it. Really pleased with the results it looks great. They were on time and tidied up everything, with no disruption to us during the project. Job was finished in June, after rain delayed things. Would have given 5 if there was a bit more communication over some of the details of the design. Overall really chuffed with it though. We’ve just had some wardrobes added so put some pics.

I cannot recommend Phil and the guys enough. After getting the initial quote, there was no pressure to take them on. When we finally made our decision, Kara was great at coming back to answer my queries. Things moved pretty quick once we decided to go ahead, with the job starting on time (even with snow coming the same week) and the main build (up to the plastering) only taking a little longer than planned (due to us having to done during the wettest January on record!). There were a couple of unavoidable leaks early on due to the amount of rain, but nothing major or damage causing. Phil even came out on a Saturday to make sure we were all water tight after some heavy rain. There is only three of them doing the main build but they know what they are doing and worked quickly with the shorter winter days and horrible weather, to make sure the roof was up as soon as possible. I was working from home during the first couple of weeks but there was minimal disruption. Good communication from Phil throughout, keeping me up to date with what was going to be done and when.

Added space without moving home. Deciding to have a dormer extension is a big decision both in the work involved and the financial cost so should not be taken lightly. After research, we felt that Phil and the team at Midland County Lofts had the experience we were looking for at a cost we were expecting. Phil took total control of the project and the majority of the work was completed in six weeks with another couple of weeks as the final trades finished their tasks; all organised by Phil with messages about what was happening next. The work has been completed to a very high standard, ready for decorating with minimal disruption and a surprising level of tidiness at the end of every day. My wife and I recently had a loft conversion from Phil and the team at Midland County Loft (January - March 2025). We could not be more impressed. The work was completed in the suggested timeframe. The quote was only slightly amended due to additions and changes that I requested. Phil and his team work so efficiently and really respect the home environment. At the end of each working day they would clean up any mess and leave the house in a safe, habitable way. This was especially important as my wife and I have four young children. The overall disruption to our home was minimal but the difference in having two additional bedrooms is completely incredible for our family.
